Selecting your best photos Look for pictures or photo opportunities that...

Were not taken from too great a distance from the camera. If the subject fills most of the picture you probably have a great photo for a cutout/popout.

Have contrast between subject and background (Move the brown horse away from the brown barn before taking that picture!)

Don't cut off the subject's head, feet, tail, hands, etc.

Are not over or underexposed too much or are way out of focus. I can correct quite a lot of problems, but try to pick the best starting image.

 

Don't worry too much about red eye, scratches or nicks in your picture. I can usually make them go away in the cutout. If in doubt about a picture, send it to me and I'll let you know if it will work.

If it will, then you can send payment and your gift will be on it's way. If the picture won't work, I can send it back with no charge involved.

Please don't send your only copy of a precious photo.  They can get lost or damaged and I cannot be held responsible.
