When I first started making photo cutouts, I gave them as gifts to family and friends. Their reactions were almost comical. When they laid eyes on them, the first thing that seemed to happen was their mouth dropped open and then they stared at it with wide open eyes. Next came a look of wonderment followed by comments like, "These are so cool!"

Photo cutouts are so eye catching that people can't just look at them. They have to pick them up and comment about them. It's really fun to see the reaction.Take a photograph in a frame and a photo cutout made from the same photograph and place them side by side and see which one gets noticed, picked up, and talked about. It's amazing!

"Hi, Al,I thought you would find this funny on the wall cutout you made of my dog, from that less-than-quality cellphone picture I gave you? When I first got it, I set it down on the floor against the baseboard, and my dogs started barking at it like it was a real dog. They cautiously came up to it and couldn't figure it out. But the real test of how real it looked is I hung it in my bedroom over a portrait of another dog of mine.

Yesterday morning when I got up and my dog came to the edge of the bed, he started barking and growling. I realized he had spotted the cutout for the first time on the wall and he thought it was a real dog even though it was 6 feet off the ground and on the wall! It seems that the whole body pose, even though it is a quarter of my dog's real size, looks very convincing to my dogs as another dog, even though they don't recognize the picture for their old pal who recently passed. I have lots of pictures of dogs on my walls, but this is the first thing my dogs have mistaken for a real dog, enough that they would think one would be hanging on the wall somehow suspended there.

"Al, I'm not sure how you do it (with some of the detailed cuts you have to make) but they look excellent. I told you, I tried to get something like this done at a local photo store and they literally took a picture and tried to put glue on it and past it onto a piece of clear plastic. It was horrible, there was glue everywhere and the edges where they cut were jagged and sloppy. Like I said, after seeing that, I'm not sure how you pull it off, but you do good work and quickly too. I'm sure I will be submitting more orders in the future. It's nice to see that you actually do deliver what you promise on your web site."
